C.D. Clark & Co. Gold Buyers is Opening a New Store in San Antonio at Ingram Park Mall

San Antonio – February 10, 2011 – C.D. Clark & Co. Gold Buyers today announced the addition of a second store in San Antonio.  Located in Ingram Park Mall across from the food court, the new C.D. Clark & Co. location will provide customers with the same upscale, secure and trustworthy precious metal buying experience.

“When we opened our first store in San Antonio more than two years ago, we set out to change the way people think about the gold buying experience,” said Chad Clark, founder.  “Many other buyers may have appeared in the marketplace since then, but no one offers the level of customer service that we do.”

With more than 25 years of precious metals experience, Clark opened his first store in North Star Mall in 2008.  At that time gold was trading at $680 an ounce.  Today it’s selling at record highs, somewhere between $1,350 and $1,400 an ounce, and most commodities experts anticipate it will continue to climb this year.  Silver has been selling at 30-year highs near $30 an ounce.  Just this week on poor U.S. jobs numbers, the Chinese rate hike and a weaker dollar, gold saw resurgence.

“All we do is buy.  We don’t resell anyone’s jewelry or coins,” explained Clark.  “That not only keeps the business simple, but it makes business sense to play to your strengths.  Ours is buying gold and giving customers the best price possible.”

C.D. Clark opened a store in El Paso in 2009, and then branched out into Austin, Houston and Sugar Land last year.  The new location at Ingram Park Mall shows an expansion in their home base, in a city where thousands are still sitting on old, broken or unwanted jewelry waiting for the right time to cash in.

“Now’s the time to at least find out what those items are worth,” added Clark.  “Our experts offer free consultations.  We encourage customers to get a second or third estimate, and more times than not, they come back to us for on-the-spot payment.”

Chad and his team of Gemological Institute of America’s Accredited Jewelry Professionals work with customers in private booths in order to learn about their jewelry and the gold buying process in general. Rather than prey on customers looking to earn money for anything from Christmas presents to monthly bills, C.D. Clark & Co.’s founders adhere to their roots of honesty, integrity and class.
